This position has the responsibility for maintaining proactive customer relationships by coordinating all support aspects of services rendered. These activities include, but are not limited to: problem solving, technical inquiries and configuration. You will provide our solutions, coordinate with the technical/engineering resources, and provide support for event organizers and third party companies. Full Definition: Account Manager
This is a full time, entry level position that involves a set of named accounts which require expertise in project management, relationship management, and customer satisfaction. Core responsibilities involve a thorough understanding of the Core-apps products and functions, as well as managing relationships with event organizers, exhibitors, and sponsors for named accounts. The account manager is ultimately accountable for account satisfaction.
Supervision exercised and received:
Receive general direction from the Director of Account Management while receiving specific management from an Account Executive. Provide supervision to the assigned named accounts in the form of project management.
Important and Essential Duties:
Must have sound presentation skills, proficiency with presentation software (e.g…Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, etc…)
Must have proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software (e.g…Microsoft Excel/Word, Apple Numbers/Pages, etc…)
Should be able to manipulate simple graphics using graphics editing software (e.g….Pixelmator, Photoshop, Gimp)
Project management coordination between event organizer, exhibitors, sponsors, internal operations, and fellow account managers to deliver contracted items
Collecting & loading graphics, documents, and videos, as needed
Provide a high level of customer service and support to establish long term relationships with clients.
Interpret license agreements, work orders and schedules
Train the event organizer on using the app and our content management system
Routinely complete quality assurance assigned by account executive
Troubleshoot Core-apps software problems/issues and coordinate resolutions
Support Core-apps exhibitor/speaker portal
Understand basic data templates
Prepare graphics and suggest ways to market the app to all channels attendees, exhibitors & sponsors.
Educate your accounts on best practices for marketing their applications
Become proficient in Core-apps’ business management tools
Pipedrive, Redmine, Hipchat, Skype, Evernote others as needed
Work harder while getting smarter
Educational and Environmental Requirements:
Must have an office with a door or other like quiet space
Must have internet greater than or equal to 5 megabit/second download
Must have internet greater than or equal to 1 megabit/second upload
College Degree or 5 years non-retail customer service experience
Must have a newish (last 2 years) PC or Mac
Must have a quality headset
Must own a smart phone (Android or Apple)
